GENERAL DELIVERY INFO:

General Info:

All orders placed before 4pm Monday – Friday and before 11am Saturday will aim to be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after that time will be dispatched the next working day (usually Monday)

Sundays/Bank Holidays:

On Sundays and UK bank holidays there is no postal collection or delivery, so orders will be dispatched the next working day.

A signature will be required upon delivery of all items dispatched by us, if no-one is in to sign for the items the goods will go to your local collection office, where you will be able to pick them up or arrange a re-delivery online. You will receive a calling card through your letterbox advising you of the options.

Full tracking information will be sent to you once your order is marked as dispatched by us.

DELIVERY TYPES:

Standard UK Delivery: Sent Via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-3 working days from dispatch) – Free on full priced orders over £80, £3.99 on orders under that value and all sale items.

Tracked 24 Delivery:  Delivery 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday sent via Royal Mail, sent with Royal Mail Tracked 24, a 24 hour delivery service, £5.99. Usually delivered the next working day to dispatch.

Special Delivery: Delivery 5 days a week (UK Only), Monday – Friday sent via Royal Mail special delivery. Unless strike action is planned, this is a guaranteed next working day service before 1pm after the day of dispatch, at a cost of £11.99.

On the rare occasion we cannot dispatch your order the same day for tracked 24 / special delivery item, we will contact you immediately.

 

International Delivery

International Delivery:

Mainland European Delivery – Important Update

Unfortunately due to recent EU Law changes and the introduction of the GPSR from December 2024, we are currently unable to ship orders to Northern Ireland and Mainland Europe.

As a small business, like many others, we are highly disappointed all the changes in regulations have been made, but due to the financial implications as a result we simply cannot afford at present to ship your orders, nor get it wrong as it can result in hefty fines and legal challenges.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and hope we can re-ship orders to Europe soon. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

NON EU Delivery

Worldwide, Non EU Delivery is £20

The order will be processed in the UK by Royal Mail, and then handled in your country by your national postal service. Jake shoes cannot be held responsible for any further import/customs charges incurred once they have left our building.

NON EU Delivery takes approximately 10-15 working days, but can sometimes take a little longer. If your order hasn’t arrived within 28 days, please contact us.

 

Click & Collect

CLICK AND COLLECT

Order your item online, collect in-store for free of charge. Simply select the store you wish to collect the items from at the checkout under the shipping options.

Once your order is ready to collect, you will receive an email from us. Most orders are ready to collect within an hour, however this cannot be guaranteed so please do not come to collect before you receive your collection email.

When collecting your order, you will need to bring two forms of ID with you:

1 must be a form of photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, National ID etc)
1 must be something that has your name on (bank card, national insurance card etc)

Without this identification, your order cannot be released. Please note the person who places the order must be the person who collects the order, we cannot release the goods to anyone else.

Your goods will be held for 28 days from when you receive your ready to collect email, if uncollected after this point, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

Important Information

RETURNS:

Goods may be returned within 28 days of receiving them for a refund. Any goods received by us after this period may not be accepted and may be returned to you.

Returns are charged at £3.50 if you use our label, which is deducted from your refund by us.

Goods must be returned in the condition they were received, unworn and in their original packaging.

You can create a returns label here which you can then drop off at your local post/sorting office or arrange a collection from your home.

You can also return goods to a Jake Shoes store, a refund will then be posted back to your original payment method.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Your right to cancel an online order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day your goods are delivered to you, your nominated neighbour or your approved safe place. You must notify us of your right to cancel via email along with your order number.

You then have a further 14 days from the date you notified us you were cancelling your order to return the goods.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

EXCHANGES:

If you wish to exchange for a different item, please place a new order via our website and return your original item to us, this way you will receive your goods quicker, and we will refund your original order once it comes back to us.

Alternatively you can exchange an item in store for free, this can be done when you return the item to us.

FAULTY ITEMS:

If your item has become faulty, please contact us in the first instance along with your order number and images of the fault. We can then arrange a replacement/refund of your order from there. Please do not just send the goods to us without prior notification, we cannot re-imburse any postage costs if this happens.
